The DCGMS (www.dcgms.de) is a not-for-profit pioneering systems biology research institution focused on the analysis, characterisation and modelling of diseases. Through collaborations with leading academic researchers and clinical departments, alongside the expertise and innovation of the private sector, the DCGMS is facilitating the translation of ‘omics’ data into a clinical setting through mathematical modelling. DCGMS has access to over 370 CPU cores and 400 TB of storage space.
The Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics (MPIMG) is one of the key research institutes for molecular biology research and is perceived internationally as a stronghold of genome and genetics research. The overall research goal is to gain new insights into the development of diseases on a molecular level, thus contributing to the development of novel cause-related medical treatments.
The MPIMG is one of the largest next generation sequencing center in Europe and has outstanding expertise in the field of NGS technology development. Dr. Marie-Laure Yaspo, has a permanent group leader position at MPIMG.
